Join One Acre Fund, an organization established in 2006 dedicated to improving the productivity of over 5 million smallholder farmers across ten African countries. We provide quality farm supplies on credit, agricultural training, market access, and agroforestry support.
Role Summary:
- Part of the Impact Division and report to the Senior Impact Director.
- Conduct sustainability assessments like emissions accounting and environmental & social impact assessments.
- Drive improvements through special projects to address any identified deficiencies.
- Collaborate across multiple countries and functional areas including supply chain, logistics, and field operations.
Role Requirements:
- Passion for sustainably improving farmer livelihoods.
- Strong collaboration skills and operational change management abilities.
- Technical aptitude in environmental sustainability.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on identifying and mitigating emissions hot spots.
- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English; fluency in Swahili, Kinyarwanda, Kirundi, or French is a plus.
- Required University degree in Environmental Studies or a related field.

Job Requirements: - Passion for sustainably improving farmer livelihoods. - Skilled in collaboration and capable of inducing necessary operational changes. - Technical aptitude in environmental sustainability. - Strong analytical skills to identify and mitigate emissions hot spots. - Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English; knowledge of Swahili, Kinyarwanda, Kirundi, or French is a plus. - University degree in Environmental Studies or a related field is required.
