Role Summary
- Oversee all the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) functions within Tupande, aligning them with the needs of various stakeholders.
- Manage ongoing and future MEL projects.
- Contribute to thought leadership, especially focusing on data quality initiatives that bolster Tupande’s vision and impact plan.
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., economics, statistics). A Master's degree is advantageous.
- Experience in designing, implementing evaluations, and data analysis.
- Proficiency in statistical software (Stata or R).
- Exceptional project management skills to handle multifaceted projects.
- Strong written communication skills and a knack for design and visual presentation.
- Leadership experience, including team management.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Swahili is advantageous.

The Role: As the Tupande MEL Manager, you will oversee all Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) functions within Tupande. This includes managing ongoing and future MEL projects, ensuring they align with the needs of various stakeholders such as in-country teams, Global MEL, other global teams, and donors. You will also contribute to thought leadership, particularly focusing on data quality initiatives that support Tupande's vision and the Tupande Impact Plan.
Job Requirements: - A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., economics, statistics). - A Master's degree in a related field is an advantage. - Strong experience in designing and implementing evaluations and analyzing data. - Proficiency in statistical software like Stata or R. - Excellent project management skills to handle multiple complex projects. - Strong written communication skills and an eye for design and visual presentation. - Leadership experience, including managing a team. - Proficiency in English; Swahili is an added advantage.
