Role Summary

  • Join our Science Policy Labs team as a Project Officer.
  • Be instrumental in improving how governments and institutions support science for public benefit.
  • Be responsible for managing, reporting, and communicating a rapidly growing portfolio of science-related projects.
  • Employ project management best practices to support project delivery, manage the governance and control quality of project delivery, and instigate continuous team process improvements.

Role Requirements

  • Experience in managing a project portfolio plus knowledge of project management processes and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and common systems such as Monday.com, Salesforce, and Oracle.
  • Excellent navigation skill in organizational processes and systems.
  • Superb collaboration skills with an interest in science policy and the latest trends.

The role: As a Project Officer in our Science Policy Labs team, you will be a core part of a growing team working to improve the ways that governments and institutions enable and support science for the greatest public benefit. Your responsibilities will include supporting the effective management, reporting, and communication of a growing portfolio of projects. You will utilize best practice project management tools and techniques to support project delivery, manage the governance and control quality of project delivery, and champion continuous improvement of team processes.

Job requirements: The ideal candidate should have experience managing a portfolio of projects and knowledge of effective project management processes and practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with common systems such as Monday.com, Salesforce, and Oracle are essential. You should be great at navigating organizational processes and systems and be a brilliant collaborator with an interest in science policy and cutting-edge trends.
