We are looking for an Antenna Engineer to join our team at the Directorate of Technology, Engineering and Quality. Our team provides functional support to ESA projects and carries out technological research and development (R&D) in the fields of space antenna systems, submillimetre wave instruments and associated technologies.
The Role: You will report to the Head of Section and your main tasks and responsibilities will include providing expert technical support and consultancy to ESA projects, programmes and general studies in the field of space antenna systems, submillimetre wave instruments and associated technologies, throughout all project phases. You will also participate in feasibility studies, project reviews and the evaluation of procurement proposals. You will identify critical development problems and assist in their resolution.
Job Requirements: A master’s in telecommunications or electrical engineering with a comprehensive background in electromagnetic wave theory is required for this post. Solid industrial experience in antenna and submillimetre wave architectures and technologies as applied to aerospace programmes would be an asset.

Additionally, successful candidates will need to undergo basic screening before appointment, which will be conducted by an external background screening service, in compliance with the European Space Agency's security procedures.
