Role Summary

  • Drive brand awareness and lead generation through the ownership of paid and digital channels.

Role Requirements

  • 3+ years of Growth Marketing experience.
  • Expertise in paid media and data analysis for optimization.
  • Proven track record of using experimentation for growth.
  • Practical CRM automation experience and familiarity with CRO tools.
  • A passion for adding value and a data-obsessed mindset.
  • Openness to work full-time or part-time (minimum 3 days per week).

The Job: Elevator Pitch

We’re looking for a talented Growth Marketing Manager to help us increase awareness of what we do among some of the fastest-growing and most exciting companies at every stage of their buying journey. This role can be full-time or part-time (minimum 3 days per week), depending on your experience and availability.

You’ll work closely with other marketing heroes to tell great stories and show how we’re helping future superstar businesses grow within our spaces; you’ll run experiments to optimise our paid media and website; and you’ll have fun doing it all (we hope).

The Job: Nitty Gritty

We want you to help us fly the flag for Runway East, taking ownership of paid and digital channels to raise brand awareness and generate top-of-funnel leads, and running growth experiments across digital and physical channels where you identify opportunities to drive your KPI’s. Half your role is to own and optimise key channels we know work (our website and select paid channels), and the other half is to experiment with new ideas across any channel, existing or new, to increase key metrics! 

Manage paid media

  • Help us hit agreed lead targets at an acceptable CPA
  • Manage our paid media channels, identifying improvements and opportunities
  • Identify new channels or techniques for experimentation
  • Work with our Senior Marketing Executive to create engaging content, encouraging engagement and conversion on paid social channels
  • Establish robust paid media reports to track success

Constantly improve our website and other owned media

  • Conduct regular experiments to improve conversion rates and usability of our website
  • Keep pages up to date, adding and tweaking content as necessary
  • Work with the Senior Marketing Executive to optimise social channels
  • Take ownership of website performance and reporting

Pitch and run experiments across any channel to increase key growth metrics

  • You’ll have free range to look at any of our channels or assets and suggest big bet experiments that you think will drive growth
  • Examples - our CRM and email automation, our reception check in experience, trialling a new social media channel, trying direct mail - whatever you can think of and put together a compelling case to experiment with! 

Improving our SEO 

  • Work with the wider Marketing Team to identify content gaps for each stage of the buying journey
  • Devise, plan and execute an SEO strategy to attract relevant traffic to the Runway East site

Requirements

The Non-Negotiables

You know your Growth Marketing

3+ years experience in a marketing environment with a clear understanding of typical marketing tech stacks, sales/marketing processes, and buying stages/funnels. Hands-on experience in paid media as well as extensive experience analysing data and optimising for growth. Practical CRM automation experience is valuable, and CRO tools like Optimizely, Google Optimize, and Hotjar are a plus. Clear evidence of using experimentation to drive growth.

Passionate about adding value in everything you do, whether it’s contributing to revenue or pipeline goals, increasing conversion rates, or making processes more efficient.

Data Obsessed

Obsessed with A/B testing and digging through data to find potential opportunities to experiment on. Enjoy analysing data to find opportunities and are adept at designing experiments to test hypotheses.

Growth Mindset

You are full of ideas and are always looking for ways to get more out of what you’ve got - you want to run endless experiments to find the perfect set up and won’t stop until you’ve found that one ultimate growth lever.

What about the money?

We’re looking to pay a market rate based on your experience. Indicatively we’re looking in the range of £50k - 55k on a full time basis or £70-80K pro rated to 3 or 4 days a week.
