  • Create and execute strategies to engage commercial farmers.

  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or related field; agronomy or agribusiness qualifications preferred.
  • Prior sales experience in the agricultural sector.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and self-motivation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Regen Organics is an award-winning social venture based in Nairobi, Kenya. We implement a circular economy model to sustainably manage sanitation and organic waste generated in cities. Using technologies developed in-house, we upcycle the waste into insect-based protein for animal feed, organic fertilizer, and biomass fuel. We operate the largest organics recycling plant in East Africa.

The Role: As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for creating demand directly with medium and large-scale commercial farmers within a defined region and ensuring closing sales with farmers and directing them to collect from distributors or resellers. Duties and Responsibilities: Generate leads through farmer visits, events and other channels. Conduct on-site visits to farmers to market and pitch the product. Educate farmers on product specifications, application rates, and techniques. Close sales and coordinate product collection from distributors and resellers. Build and maintain long-term relationships with farmers. Daily reporting of visits and sales. Weekly reporting of customer feedback, insights and learnings. Coordinate sales between farmers and distributors. Maintain close relationship distributors assigned.

Job requirements: Must have a sound knowledge of farming activities in the area of operation. Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, or a related field. Qualifications in agronomy or agribusiness will be an added advantage. Previous experience in sales, especially within the agricultural sector, is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated with a results-driven approach. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
