Role Summary:

  • Be a part of the dynamic 'Grid' team focusing on 'grid flex' projects.

Role Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a backend cloud engineer.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, Nx, NestJS, Jest, and AWS.
  • Understanding of OOP, design patterns, and Event Driven Architectures.
  • Familiarity with agile, lean, CI/CD, and TDD methodologies.

The role: You’ll be joining our incredible Software department within our “Grid” team. One of our biggest projects right now is our “grid flex” offering – where we work alongside Distribution Network Operators and Energy providers on a service more commonly known as Grid Load Management or Grid Load Balancing – we call it Grid Flex. The grid flex domain operates in a dynamic start-up-like environment within our established company and plays a crucial role in achieving our recurring revenue goals.

Job requirements: We're looking for an adaptable and experienced backend cloud aware engineer who is ready to step into a mid-level role. You should have experience with backend technologies such as TypeScript and Node.js, Nx, NestJS and Jest, and experience within the AWS ecosystem. Understanding of OOP principles, design patterns and Event Driven Architectures is also required. Experience in modern development practices, such as agile, lean, CI/CD and TDD is also necessary.
