Role Summary
- Oversee the development of carbon projects from origination to certification.
- Collaborate with experts to review and consolidate scientific components.
- Ensure resources are allocated to high-quality, high-potential projects.
- Present projects to the Assessment Committee for decision-making.

- Proven experience in delivering data-driven assessments in complex settings.
- Knowledge of Nature Based Solutions (NBS) and a passion for nature conservation.
- Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills.

The Role
What you will do

Analyse, review and assess carbon projects

Build and hold a holistic view of carbon projects from initial assessment through to project design phase

Pressure test and review expert analyses and content to ensure they provide sufficient clarity, are clearly articulated, and answer the right questions

Iteratively identify and prioritise critical project risks during across different stages of assessment

Structure the sequence of assessment categories to ensure efficiency

Supports the development of analytical frameworks and approaches that improve assessment quality and speed,

Own the delivery of analysis and content to the Assessment Committee

Exceptional track record of delivering data-driven assessments in complex environments

Have a good generalist background coupled with a good understanding of NBS

Outstanding analytical skills and critical thinking
