  • Work alongside the Senior Copywriter and the freelance creative team 2-4 days per week, depending on the workload.
  • Create compelling, original copy for email, web, editorial blogs, social media, press releases, seasonal materials, and more.
  • Contribute to various projects with the flexibility to handle diverse briefs and channels.
  • Minimum of 3 years of cross-channel copywriting experience.
  • Exceptional skills in both short, engaging copy and long-form educational content.
  • A passion for natural health, an understanding of barefoot concepts, and a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication, adaptability, and a team-oriented mindset.
  • A penchant for creativity and a good sense of humor.

ROLE OVERVIEW

You’ll work alongside our in-house Senior Copywriter and form part of the wider freelance creative team 2 to 4 days a week, workload depending.  You’ll be responsible for generating original and on-brand copy and narratives that grab the attention of our target audience, driving our purpose and business through impactful copy and storytelling across*:

Email

Web copy, including PDP and PLP product copy, homepage, landing pages for BAU content, and product campaigns

Editorial blog posts covering topics from barefoot education, products and campaign overviews to a detailed piece on biomechanics.

Paid and organic social copy

Support on press releases inc. collaborations, events and new collections

Seasonal POS, packaging, leaflets, product catalogues

You won’t necessarily be asked to work across all of the above, but the ability to do so is required, as briefs will vary.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND QUALITIES

Min 3 years of cross-channel experience

Ability to write short copy that is punchy and playful as well as long-form copy that is educational and engaging

Strong eye for detail

A good understanding of natural health and lifestyle brands and an interest in familiarising yourself with the concept of barefoot

Highly creative with the ability to take projects from the initial concept stages through to completion

Works well in a team with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities

Highly self-motivated and well-organised

Able to see other people's points of view and to take and implement feedback

Understand the different language styles that appeal to various target markets UK/USA particularly

Conduct research, seeking out information from various sources including online and research partners to support writing.

A sense of humour and desire to have fun is a bonus!
