- Provide personal development and welfare support within the England Women’s Pathway.
- Collaborate with the safeguarding team to maintain high safeguarding standards.
- Advocate for players and support them throughout their careers, including education and retirement transitions, in partnership with the Professional Cricketer’s Association (PCA).
- Experience in elite performance environments and a deep understanding of safeguarding in elite sports.
- Strong communication skills, ability to handle complex situations, and a history of effective collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
- Flexibility with work hours, willingness to travel, and a background in delivering educational workshops are essential.
- Experience in cricket is desirable but not mandatory.

YOU’LL BE DOING
Working part of an extensive wellbeing team to provide pastoral support to players
Player advocacy
Working closely with the safeguarding team to support high standards of safeguarding practices across the England Women environments
Supporting players throughout their career including education, transitions and retirement in collaboration with the Professional Cricketer’s Association (PCA)
YOU’LL HAVE
Knowledge, experience and understanding of elite performance environments
Significant experience of working with others including effective listening skills, ability to put practical solutions in place and to handle complex situations, working with multiple stakeholders
Significant knowledge and experience of safeguarding within elite sports environments, including management of low-level and threshold referrals and concerns.
A comprehensive understanding of the safeguarding challenges in elite sport, and how to develop a proactive strategy to mitigate safeguarding risk.
A proven track record of effective teamwork with strong communication skills
Proven experience of building effective working relationships
Prepared to work flexible hours and when required travel overseas on tours and undertake national travel.
Previous experience of touring in an elite sports setting and an understanding of the challenges associated with this
Experience planning, delivering and evaluating educational workshops
Desirable: previous experience of working in cricket
