  • Role Summary:
    • Execute Sofar shows in the UK, ensuring diverse artist lineups and exceptional show quality.

  • Role Requirements:
    • 2+ years in operations, logistics, event production, or administration.
    • Strong time management, communication, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to analyze data and uphold quality in high-volume settings.
    • Passion for events and hospitality experience (a plus).
    • Self-motivated with a strong initiative and a growth mindset.

About the Role

As a Booker for our Sofar UK market, you’ll be responsible for show execution from start to finish - ensuring the venue matches plan, showcasing diverse and exciting artist lineups, and staffing our shows with world class crew. 

Reporting into Senior Manager of Global Booking, you’ll join a team of passionate, creative folks that are ensuring the success of thousands of Sofar shows around the world. This is a phenomenal opportunity for folks who live and breathe music (bonus points for having an ear for identifying strong artists!), understand logistics and events, and want to further their career in booking. 

Please note that this position is based in London.

What you'll do:

Curate our shows with input from central team leadership, booking the best artists in the best neighbourhoods and venues in each market Monitor show feedback to ensure show quality remains high and we are continuing to improve our booking strategy in line with customer demand Collaborate with our Partnerships team to lead booking for our high profile sponsorships and partnerships e.g., Heathrow Introducing, Sofar x Great Escape, Sofar x Wilderness Ensure shows are staffed appropriately across crew and production, proactively stepping in to coordinate substitutions as needed and approving timecards Review all artist applications and host inquires as needed, actively curating a high quality, diverse community with additional artist and venue scouting (as required) Build strong relationships with our best artists and venues, acting as a liaison, preparing them in advance of shows to create magic in the room Manage all last-minute cancellations and changes for both venues and artists

Who you are:

You have 2+ years of experience in operations, logistics, event production, and/or administrative responsibilities You have exceptional time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines You’re a clear written communicator who can work across teams and timezones You’re highly organizational, and can easily maintain efficient operations and systems You have a track record of upholding quality – even in high volume environments You understand how to draw high-level insights from data You have a strong sense of ownership; self-motivated with a willingness and eagerness to learn You have a passion for the events industry, with previous hospitality experience a plus You take initiative; driven and hard-working individual with a growth mindset
