Role Summary
This role is pivotal for Marshmallow as Training & Development Manager in the QA and Training team. The role entails setting quality standards, delivering training, organizing continued development, and improving outcomes through valuable insights. The person in this role leads a team of trainers and partners with QA, Compliance, and People to assure effective performance, readiness, and compliance.
Role Requirements
Apart from being a strategic, people-centred leader with experience in scaling training in regulated customer service environments, the ideal candidate for this role would be a natural coach with a track record of building high-trust stakeholder relationships. They should be data-driven, performance-oriented, collaborative and skilled at balancing strategic priorities and operational improvements. They should be passionate about customer outcomes, quality, and creating safe and effective spaces for learning and growth. Adaptability in the dynamic, ambiguous scale-up environments is a must.

The role: The QA and Training team at Marshmallow enables performance and builds capability across all operational functions by setting quality standards, delivering training and continued development, and using insights to improve outcomes. We focus on developing people through performance-informed, scalable training and coaching-led quality assurance. The Training & Development Manager is a senior people leader responsible for defining and embedding the end-to-end training strategy. They lead a team of trainers, partner with QA, Compliance and People, and ensure training directly improves performance, readiness, and compliance. Balancing day-to-day delivery with long-term capability building, this role ensures our training is measurable, scalable, and aligned with business growth and regulatory needs in an increasingly AI-enabled environment.
