This is a fixed-term contract position for 12 months, offered on a part-time basis of 3 days per week.
THE ROLE
Climate Impact Partners, a leading provider of high quality carboncredit programmes, is looking for aTreasury Managerto join ourFinanceteam. The Treasury Manager will oversee the organisation's treasury operations, including cash management, cash flow forecasting and FX risk management. This role ensures that the company’s financial obligations are met efficiently and that cash resources are optimally managed to support business operations and growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Cash Management:
Monitor andmanage the company's daily cash positions.
Forecast short-term and long-term cash flows to ensure adequate liquidity.
Oversee bank accounts and maintain relationships with banking partners.
Implement cash concentration strategies to optimise the use of available funds.
Cash Flow Forecasting:
- Develop and maintain a detailed 13-week cash flow forecast model.
Update the cash flow forecast weekly, incorporating actual cash flows and revising future projections.
Collaborate with departments to gather inputs for the forecast, including sales, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and capital expenditures.
Analyse cash flow trends and variances to provide actionable insights.
Prepare weekly cash flow reports for senior management, highlighting key cash inflows and outflows.
Identify potential cash shortfalls and recommend actions to mitigate risks.
FX Risk Management:
- Develop and implement FX risk management policies and procedures.
- Identify and assess the company's exposure to foreign exchange risks.
Design and execute FX hedging transactions, including forwards, options, and swaps.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements for all hedging activities.
Maintain accurate records of all FX transactions and hedging activities.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare regular reports on cash flow, liquidity, and FX risk management for senior management and the board.
Monitor and analyse key working capital metrics, such as DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), DPO (Days Payable Outstanding), and DIO (Days Inventory Outstanding).
Identify opportunities to improve cash conversion cycles and enhance overall liquidity.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
Professional qualification (e.g., ACT, CFA,ACCA) is highly desirable.
Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in treasury management, with a track record of success.
Strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and treasury operations.
Experience in managing liquidity andFXrisk in a corporate setting.
Proficiency in treasury management systems and financial analysis tools.
