Role Summary:Provide top-notch support to staff, grantees, and collaborators as part of a growing operations team.Contribute to the smooth and effective running of an organization that has surpassed 130 staff members and has made over 850 grants.
Role Requirements:Open to various levels of experience, from entry-level to candidates with significant relevant experience.Must be able to work full-time onsite in San Francisco or Washington D.C., with relocation assistance provided if necessary.Work authorization in the US is required as visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

About the Operations Team Open Philanthropy has been growing rapidly, both in the number of staff (which recently exceeded 130) and in the volume of grants we make (more than 850 in 2023). This would not have been possible without our outstanding Operations team, whose goal is to help the organization run as smoothly and effectively as possible by providing excellent support to our staff, grantees, and collaborators.
Who we’re looking for We are open to hiring at multiple levels of experience. Some of our operations roles require no specific experience, but we are also open to hiring candidates with significant relevant experience at a higher level.
Role details & benefits These are full-time, onsite roles in our offices in SF and DC. If you don’t live in one of these locations, you’d need to relocate (we’d assist with relocation costs). Unfortunately, we aren’t able to sponsor visas for this role, so candidates must have work authorization in the US to apply.
