Role Summary:
- Step into a Senior People Partner position for a 9-month maternity cover.
- Work within the People Team, directly reporting to the Chief People Officer.
- Manage the People Partner team and collaborate with executive leadership.
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with company objectives.
- Proactively contribute to a People agenda that upholds our company values and strengthens our culture.
Role Requirements:
- Extensive experience (ideally 10 years) in Senior People Partner or People leadership roles.
- Expertise in supporting multiple senior executives and building influential relationships.
- Deep understanding of UK employment laws and handling complex employee relations.
- Analytical skills with proficiency in People data analysis and spreadsheet management.

The role We are looking for a Senior People Partner for a 9-month fixed-term maternity cover. This role sits within our People Team, reporting to the Chief People Officer with line management responsibility of the People Partner team. You will partner with Funding Circle’s leadership to identify, build, and execute HR strategies to meet business objectives. You will understand the critical priorities and proactively contribute to a People agenda that supports the business while incorporating our values and adding to the strength of our culture.
Job requirements Proven previous experience in a Senior People Partner / People leadership role (10 years desirable). Experience supporting multiple senior executives. Ability to develop trusted relationships, credibility, and influence. Knowledge of local laws and regulations in the UK and experience in dealing with complex employee relations issues. An analytical mindset, capable of getting into detail with People data to draw insight. Must be comfortable using spreadsheets and creating pivot tables, v-lookups, and other basic formulas.
