About One Acre Fund Founded in 2006, One Acre Fund supplies over 1.5 million smallholder farmers with the agricultural services they need to make their farms more productive. Our 8,000+ team is drawn from diverse backgrounds and professions. With operations across ten African countries, we make farmers more prosperous by providing quality farm supplies on credit, delivered within walking distance of farmers' homes, and agricultural training to improve harvests. On average, the farmers we serve earn 40 percent more profits on the land they enroll with One Acre Fund.
The Role The Strategy and Operations Associate is an essential part of the Kenya Tupande team and part of one of the largest social enterprises in Africa. Tupande serves over 830,000 clients in Kenya. Tupande’s vision is to “ transform every farming community in Kenya by delivering sustained food security and pathways to prosperity .”
Job requirements 3+ years of working experience, a background in managing complex projects and coordinating across multiple teams in a fast-growing organization, and a propensity for innovation. If you fit the following criteria, you are encouraged to apply: Project management and stakeholder management skills. 3+ years of management consulting experience Proficiency in understanding motivations of different groups and teams and supporting them to work together. Experience working in a fast-paced, results-oriented work environment. At a minimum, a Bachelor’s degree is required for this position. Post-graduate degree preferred.
