  • Manage key lending trials and projects in Kenya to enhance program sustainability.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of trials from design, execution, to evaluation.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to drive innovative market solutions for farmer impact.
  • Report directly to the lending lead, shaping the future of sustainable farming.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in project management and cross-team coordination.
  • Background in microfinance or lending with expertise in loans and credit.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as STATA, R, or Power BI.
  • Fluency in English and Swahili languages.
  • Role open exclusively to Kenyan citizens or permanent residents.

About One Acre Fund Founded in 2006, One Acre Fund supplies 1 million smallholder farmers with the agricultural services they need to make their farms vastly more productive. Our 8,000+ team is drawn from diverse backgrounds and professions. With operations across six core countries in Africa, we make farmers more prosperous by providing quality farm supplies on credit, delivered within walking distance of farmers’ homes, and agricultural training to improve harvests. On average, the farmers we serve harvest 50 percent more food after working with One Acre Fund.

The Role Our 2030 target will require Tupande to change, adapt to new market opportunities, and find new ways of delivering impact to farmers. The Lending Specialist will manage high-priority Kenya lending trials and projects driving up the program's sustainability. You will be involved in all phases of trial development, from design to execution to evaluation. You will report to the lending lead.

Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. 2 years of experience managing complex projects and coordinating across multiple teams. Experience working with lending/loans/credit in microfinance or lending institutions. Data analysis experience with knowledge of STATA or R or Power BI. English and Swahili language proficiency.
