What will you be doing?

Our Volunteer Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the mission and activities of Supporting Healthcare Heroes UK, a charity dedicated to standing shoulder to shoulder with healthcare workers with Long Covid in the UK. If you take up this position you will work with the Chair to ensure our volunteers' experiences are positive and engaging.   Become our Volunteer Coordinator is a rewarding role which will allow you to contribute to the work we are doing as a charity to right the wrongs done to the healthcare workers who by caring for us when we needed them to, ofteen without appropriate PPE, now face an uncertain future.

What are we looking for?

Passion for the mission and values of the charity. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with volunteers from diverse backgrounds. Strong organisational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to multitask. Previous experience in volunteer management, community engagement, or related fields. Proficiency in using computer software and online tools for communication, record- keeping, and scheduling.
