What will you be doing?
In this role, you will be working with LocalGov Drupal, a pivotal tool in public sector web development, contributing to a collaborative, open-source community. Responsibilities:
Developing, testing, and implementing new features in our Drupal-based system Collaborating with design and research teams across the public sector to create user-centric web solutions Actively participating in a community of developers, sharing ideas, best practices, and innovative solutions Troubleshooting and resolving issues within the Drupal environment Consistently enhancing our codebase and contributing to the wider open-source community
What are we looking for?
Requirements:
Strong experience with Drupal, including custom module development, key contributed modules, and core API Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively within a team Passion for the open-source community and public sector development Strong verbal and written communication skills Willingness to commit to a regular volunteer schedule
