Volunteer Trustee for LCGB (Lactation Consultants of Great Britain)

What will you be doing?

LCGB seeks passionate and skilled individuals to join our Board of Trustees. We are committed to advancing breastfeeding support and lactation consultancy across the UK. The role involves strategic leadership, governance, financial oversight, and advocacy. What are we looking for?

Responsibilities:

Provide strategic oversight and contribute to LCGB’s strategic plan. Ensure compliance with governing documents and legal requirements. Oversee financial performance and ensure robust financial controls. Act as an ambassador for LCGB, promoting our mission and values. Support and promote an inclusive culture within the board.

Skills and Qualifications:

Experience in governance, finance, healthcare, or related fields. Strong commitment to promoting breastfeeding and lactation consultancy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to dedicate time to attend board meetings and participate in sub-committees.
