What will you be doing?
The role would suit a range of people, from young professionals looking to broaden their leadership experience to senior or retired professionals looking to give something back to their local community. We strive to help women recognise thier self-worth, understand thier choices, and empower them to overcome barriers to change. Strategic Vision The ability to think strategically and contribute to the development of long-term plans that align with the charity's goals. Independent Judgement Strong analytical skills and the ability to make decisions independently, whilst considering diverse perspectives. Creativity An innovative mindset, capable of thinking creatively to solve problems and identify new opportunities for the charity. Collaborative Leadership Proven experience in working collaboratively within a team, particularly at leadership or board level, to drive collective success. What difference will you make?
As part of the trustee board you will share collective responsibility for the effective development and direction of our organisation. You will have the opportunity to shape the work we do and have a positive impact on vulnerable women living in the East of London area. You will gain first-hand experience of working at a strategic level in a large charity and working alongside trustees with diverse professional backgrounds. You will also have the opportunity to gain experience of board level decision making, as well as developing your leadership and management capabilities.
