Bloomsbury Football Foundation is an organisation that uses football as a vehicle to improve the lives of over 5,000 young people a week. Our programmes are designed to improve the physical health, mental health and life skills of young people in London's mostly economically disadvantaged areas, as well as promoting social cohesion by bringing young people of all socioeconomic backgrounds together.
The role of the Lead Futsal Coach will involve overseeing aspects of our futsal programme, including player development, team training and tactical preparation. The ideal candidate will possess an understanding or at least a strong desire to develop their futsal understanding, excellent leadership abilities, and a passion for coaching and mentoring players.
Job requirements include 2 years+ working in the sports sector, a proven track record of developing players and achieving success at the team level, high organisation skills, and experience working with players of various ages and skill levels. Additional requirements include a Level 1 football and/or futsal qualification, an analytical mindset with the ability to assess player performance and identify areas for improvement, and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and travel for matches and tournaments as needed.
