The Role As a Senior Customer Operations Executive in our Car Finance department, you will be supporting our broker and dealer partners to get Hire Purchase deals completed. This includes chasing invoices, discussing loan limits/deposits, and setting clear expectations to move deals forward. You will also assess applicant affordability and suitability using our Underwriting Guidelines and Credit Risk models, and make decisions on lending with initial guidance. Your role involves identifying areas where processes can be improved via automation and AI, and working closely with our engineering team to implement these ideas.
Job Requirements We are looking for someone passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, adaptable, and comfortable with change. You should be proactive in finding solutions, skilled at simplifying complex information for customers, and open to feedback. Previous experience in a customer-facing role, particularly in online customer support, Collections, Underwriting, or Complaints is required. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are essential. You must be able to work 3-4 weekend days per month and occasional bank holidays as part of a rota, with a minimum of 3 days in office per week.
