  • Role Summary:

    • Proficiency in Typescript and experience with our tech stack: Javascript/Typescript/NodeJS, GraphQL, React, NextJS, React Native, HTML, CSS, Terraform, AWS, Github, Docker, Jest/Playwright.

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our remote-first engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about technology and eager to make an impact.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate Across the Codebase: Work with various parts of our codebase across both web and mobile, contributing to different projects and ensuring high-quality standards are maintained throughout.
  • Cross-Functional Teamwork: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to define, design, and implement new features that align with business goals.
  • Architectural Understanding: Develop a deep understanding of our platform's architecture, including data flow and interactions between components. Use this knowledge to design and implement features effectively across the stack.
  • Code Quality and Efficiency: Write clean, scalable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices and helping to optimise the performance and reliability of our applications.
  • Participate in Code Reviews: Engage in code reviews to provide and receive constructive feedback, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Continuous Learning and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in software development, and bring innovative ideas and solutions to the team.

Our Tech stack

We expect you to be relatively proficient in Typescript with a clear understanding of how to build a fullstack feature in a web application. Experience with React Native is a bonus. Our tech stack is below, but we do not expect you to have had exposure to everything.

  • HTML and CSS in JS or CSS module
  • Terraform
  • AWS (Lambda, ECS, Fargate, RDS, Cloudfront, ALB)
  • Github / Github Actions

  • Jest / Playwright
  • PHP Laravel is a bonus
