Volunteer Treasurer or Finance Trustee - anywhere in the country

What will you be doing?

Dance is an enormously challenging and competitive career and STEPPS wants to make sure that individuals are supported mentally as well as physically from their early years of training, right through to the end of their professional lives.   We will be providing workshops, training mental health first aiders and offering free or reduced cost counselling sessions for the dance profession.   There is a Finance and Strategy sub committee in place and the Finance Trustee will be invited to attend.  ALL MEETINGS ARE ON ZOOM - we do not have premises so you could be anywhere in the country..

What are we looking for?

We are looking for experience in finance and accounting.

What difference will you make?

Our charity will have a huge impact on the dance profession globally to ensure that training methods are fair for all and dancers, choreographers from all genres, directors and trainees are supported to have not just strong bodies but strong minds as well.  A press release and further information can be provided on application.  the website is about to launch stepps.charity.com   We are on Instagram steppscio where you can see our vibrant Board and Ambassadors and Patrons.   You will ensure that the finances and reporting to the Board are up to date and that systems start to be put in place for the future.
