  • Provide expert financial crime compliance advisory services
  • Support the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO)
  • Manage and enhance screening tools
  • Conduct monitoring and testing for tool effectiveness
  • Develop and update policies and procedures
  • Approve Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR)
  • Perform risk assessments
  • Deliver training and raise awareness of financial crime issues
  • Uphold governance standards
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations
  • Engage in effective stakeholder management
  • Proven experience in financial crime compliance within regulated financial services
  • Understanding of lending operations and associated risks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Relevant graduate-level education and professional qualification (e.g., ICA)
  • Fintech experience is a plus
  • Proficiency in G-suite and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)

The role involves providing expert guidance, managing compliance programs, and collaborating with business teams to foster a strong financial crime culture. The role includes Financial Crime Compliance Advisory, MLRO Support, Screening Tool Management, Tool Effectiveness, Monitoring and Testing, Policy Development, SAR Approval, Risk Assessment, Training and Awareness, Governance, Regulatory Knowledge, and Stakeholder Management.

We are looking for someone with proven experience in financial crime compliance within a regulated financial services environment, strong understanding of lending operations and related risks, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely, strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, graduate level education with a relevant professional qualification (e.g., ICA), fintech experience, and proficiency in G-suite and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
