Role Summary

We are currently seeking an Engineering Manager to join our team in Berlin or remotely for a 1-year maternity cover. This role reports directly to the CTO and involves leading a team of five engineers across two teams.

The Journey team focuses on developing products that enhance user engagement and facilitate feature delivery by other teams. The Lifecycle and Marketing team aims to understand and improve the user journey through various channels. As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for guiding these teams towards achieving operational excellence and fostering a culture of professional growth and innovation.

Your main responsibilities will include overcoming technical challenges, ensuring project delivery, and collaborating with internal stakeholders. You will also support your team's career development through regular feedback and growth conversations, and you will play a key role in maintaining a fair and equitable work environment.

We are looking for candidates who have a proven track record in people development and a strong background in software design and production. You should be comfortable with technical stacks and have a commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace.
