- Develop and implement innovative social behavior change communication strategies for our Uganda program.
- Collaborate with country leadership to promote sustainable agricultural practices among farmers.
- Drive the adoption of improved agronomic techniques through effective training of field teams and farmers.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Communication, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in SBCC program design, preferably in public health or agriculture.
- Knowledge of behavioral theories and project management skills, including budgeting and reporting.
- Proficiency in local languages and a deep understanding of the cultural nuances within Uganda.

The Role Design and implement social behavior change communication (SBCC) strategies and programs for the Uganda program. You will work with Uganda Country leadership and multiple team members to promote and sustain positive behaviors within our farmers and guide long-term climate-sustainable agricultural practices. You will report to the COO and the Head of Field Programs to develop new approaches to training both our internal field team, and the farmers that we work with, to achieve faster and deeper adoption of better agronomic practices.
Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Communication, or a related field. 3 or more years of experience designing and implementing SBCC programs, in a public health or agricultural context. Understanding of behavioral theories and models and their application in program design. Experience with project management, including budget management and reporting. Proficiency in local languages and understanding of local cultural contexts.
