We offer a competitive salary of £27,000 p.a., a 6-month contract, remote work flexibility with occasional London office visits, discounted trips, and mentorship opportunities, all within a supportive and inclusive workplace.

Join us at Byway as our Content Marketing Intern. We're looking for a Content Marketing Intern to be the face of our brand on socials and support the marketing team with creative ideas and content production. This person will report into Lucy Murmann, Marketing Manager, working closely with the wider marketing and content team. This internship would suit someone who has been creating social content for a while and looking to hone this skill at a mission-led brand.

We’re a certified B Corp committed to making flight-free travel mainstream. Since our inception in March 2020, we've booked 7,000 travellers onto unforgettable holidays, with 97% of five-star reviews. We’re growing 3x YoY and are regularly featured in the press, including the Guardian, BBC, and New York Times.

The Role - What the role entails The day to day would be predominantly content creation, and around fifty percent of your time working towards ad-hoc marketing projects, from influencer marketing to blog copywriting to SEO content. It would suit a highly creative and proactive person who can turn their ideas into reality, by both DIYing and leveraging relationships across the team and with partners.

Job Requirements - Any requirements mentioned We are looking for someone with video production creativity and presence on camera, a portfolio of engaging social content production examples, superb copywriting capabilities, knowledge/experience of design and video software, including Adobe Photoshop, Premier Pro, Capcut, Figma, enjoyment researching relevant cultural trends and pitching creative ideas, comfort helping and encouraging customers, partners and the team to make content, great research and image-sourcing skills with the ability to stick to a brief and style guide, belief in our mission and a passion for sustainability and flight-free travel.

(London salary, but work from anywhere), 6 month contract, remote-first working with 2 days/month in our London office, family and friend rates on trips, and access to a higher affiliate commission rate forever, mentorship from across our team.

In your portfolio you should demonstrate your video production and on-camera experience. If we like your application, we’ll invite you to an initial 20 minute call with Lucy the hiring manager. After that, we have a take-home task for you to complete and send back, and if that goes well we’ll have an interview with Hatty (Product Content Manager) and Kurt (Senior Product Designer). The final stage is a longer interview designed to help us get to know you as a person, with Holly, CMO, and Lucy. We offer flexible scheduling for our multi-stage interview process and are open to adjustments based on candidate needs. Applications close 25th August.
