As Director of Fundraising, you will be an experienced fundraising leader, passionate about delivering excellent customer experiences to our donors, internal stakeholders and beneficiaries. You will provide high-quality leadership to the Fundraising Department, support the Leadership Team to achieve their goals and influence leaders across the organisation, champion fundraising and secure buy-in.

The role requires experience of leading Fundraising Departments at a senior level that include high value audiences. You should have experience in managing the high value fundraising cycle– from prospecting, developing proposals and pitching them, and securing funding / grants / business to the value of 6 and 7 figures – and overseeing teams engaged in this activity. You should also have experience in account management, upselling and relationship development of a portfolio of funders.

You should understand the drivers for purchase / funding decisions of different funder / stakeholder groups and have developed proposals and campaigns that bring them together. You should understand fundraising performance metrics and how to utilise them to support delivery against objectives and be able to develop departmental strategies, budgets, and plans.
