- Execute SEO strategy and newsletter editorial plans, reporting to the SEO lead.
- Work closely with editorial and food teams for collaborative projects.
- Conduct SEO optimization to maximize content reach and engagement.
- Create and send weekly newsletters to keep subscribers informed and engaged.
- Analyze content performance using analytics and report your findings.
- 3+ years of experience in SEO optimization, written content creation, and newsletter strategy.
- Proficient with CMS platforms, Klaviyo, Figma, Google Analytics, and Mixpanel.
- Skilled in writing, editing, and proofreading with strong attention to detail.
- Adept at managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines.
- Competent in handling feedback and client interactions.
- Preference for candidates with experience in the food industry or recipe content.

Over the last 7 years, Ben and the team have built Mob into the most followed food media brand in the UK, with an audience of 4 million across various channels. They have released 5 bestselling cookbooks and worked on partnerships with some of the most prominent consumer-facing brands in the industry. Last year saw them launch Mob Premium, a subscription-based members platform launched in April 2023, which scaled to ~41,000 paid subscribers and £140,000 MMR within 14 months. The team are now working on an app to create an even more compelling product for users.
The role - We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Content Editor to join our dynamic team. The role will execute our SEO strategy and newsletter strategy, reporting to the SEO lead. The role will involve close collaboration with the editorial and food team. Responsibilities include SEO Optimisation, Writing Weekly Newsletters, and Analytics Reporting.
Job requirements - Highly skilled and detail-oriented with a minimum of 3 years experience in SEO optimisation and written content creation and newsletter strategy. You’ll have proficiency with CMS platforms, Klaviyo, Figma, GA, and Mixpanel and experience with tools like Ahrefs. You’ll have excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills and an ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently. Alongside this, you’ll have experience in managing feedback and client interactions and preferably, but not essentially, experience in the food industry or with recipe content.
