One Acre Fund was founded in 2006 with a mission to support smallholder farmers in Africa. Operating in nine countries and serving over 5.5 million farmers, we provide farm supplies, tree seedlings, credit, and contemporary training. Our large and diverse team of over 9,000 members works dedicatedly towards enhancing farmer productivity and livelihoods.

Role Summary

  • Lead strategic financial planning and report for program's growth
  • Oversee management of financial analysis, budgeting and reporting
  • Handle the financial aspects of Uganda-focused grants, including compliance, budgeting, reporting, and stakeholder engagement

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
  • Minimum 4 years' finance, consulting or strategic advisory experience
  • Professional qualification in ACCA or CPA (U)
  • Dealt with multi-currency grants from major donors
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Google Sheets, and intermediate Microsoft Excel skills

The Role: As a Finance Associate in Uganda, you will lead strategic financial planning and reporting to support our program's growth. You will manage financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting to aid decision-making and oversee the financial aspects of Uganda-focused grants. This includes compliance, budgeting, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.

Job Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration. - Over 4 years of experience in finance, consulting, or strategic advisory. - Full professional qualification in ACCA or CPA (U). - Experience managing multi-currency grants from major donors. - Proficiency in Power BI, Google Sheets, and intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel.
