Role Summary
- Support the Head of Finance with the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting.
- Conduct monthly budget reviews, pinpoint variances, and provide actionable insights.
- Prepare and analyze reports on financial performance to aid departmental financial goals.
- Analyze stock ordering and margins to enhance financial reporting and profitability.
- Track KPIs and present insights that drive business performance.
- Collaborate on process and reporting enhancements within the finance team.
- Adapt to business needs with additional support as required.
Role Requirements
- Previous financial analysis experience, ideally in D2C or healthcare sectors.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in large dataset management.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- SQL knowledge is a plus.

The role
As our new FP&A Analyst, you will play a role in driving business growth by providing critical insights into financial performance. You will proactively dive into the numbers to identify key business drivers and support decision-making. Collaborating closely with the wider finance team, you will help streamline processes, enhance forecasting and support the business to achieve its financial goals.
You’ll be:
- Supporting the Head of Finance in the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting.
- Creation of monthly budget reviews to identify and discuss key variances with budget holders, while providing insights to help maintain budget control.
- Preparing and analysing reports on financial performance, supporting departments in meeting their monthly financial targets.
- Analyse stock ordering, assess true costs, and provide detailed margin analysis to ensure accurate financial reporting and optimise profitability.
- Monitoring and tracking KPI’s, presenting actionable insights to drive business performance.
- Working alongside the wider finance team to drive process and reporting improvements.
- Provide additional support as required by the needs of the business, responding flexibly to dynamic priorities.
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Prior experience in a financial analysis role, preferably within D2C or healthcare sectors.
- Advanced Excel skills are essential, with the ability to handle large datasets.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in reporting and analysis.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of translating complex financial data into actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.
It’s a bonus if you have:
- Experience working in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment.
- Working knowledge of SQL.
