It is that time of year - we are looking to recruit Gallery Hosts to join our Visitor Experience team for our autumn and winter seasons!
We are looking for someone with experience in a customer-facing role, with the ability to actively provide a welcoming enriching and memorable experience. You will be a clear and effective verbal communicator with a flexible approach, willing to take on a variety of tasks.
You will welcome visitors and guests to Serpentine, and be able to deal with queries using excellent customer service skills, escalating where necessary. You will encourage visitors to attend both Galleries promoting exhibitions, and the annual Pavilion and provide information on exhibitions, events and the surrounding area to enhance their visit.
You will also have the opportunity to learn about Serpentine’s programme, from artists to art works on display and share your knowledge by providing tours to visitors. You will also be involved in sales by promoting and selling merchandise, and advising on product information, availability and pricing.
This is an exciting opportunity to work for an internationally renowned gallery. You’ll be hands on, happy to pitch in and enjoy working in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.
