- Collect packages from merchants across London using electric vans.
- Ensure safe delivery back to the Bermondsey depot.
- Use a self-built iPhone app for efficient navigation.
- Maintain vehicle safety and perform minor maintenance.
- Help out with warehouse duties as needed.
- Must be a friendly, service-oriented individual.
- Experience driving electric vans is a plus.
- Confident with driving, navigating, and parking in London.
- Must be tech-savvy to handle route management via an app.
- Valid UK driving licence with a clean record as per specified offences.

Full-time employee, fixed-term (2-month contract) £13.50 p/h
The Job: We're looking for another fantastic collection driver to help us collect packages from our merchants across London in our electric vans! You will be responsible for collecting packs directly from our many merchants, getting them back safe and sound to our Bermondsey depot. You'll need to be attentive, punctual and friendly to make sure merchants have a great experience with Packfleet. Please note this is a two month contract only.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and merchants regarding collection schedules
- Using our self-built iPhone app to navigate across London (we can provide a phone for your route if you are an android user!)
- Safely load and unload items from the vehicle
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance tasks
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Assist with warehouse duties when not driving
Requirements
What we're looking for:
- Friendly, and kind individuals
- Focussed on going the extra-mile to offer a great customer experience
- Experience and confidence driving electric vans
- Confident driving, navigating and parking around London
- Tech-savvy — you'll be using our own driver app on your phone for your routes
What we will need proof of:
- a valid UK driving licence
- DVLA check which does not have any of the following offences on your licence:
- i) Theft or unauthorised taking UT
- ii) Drink or Drugs DR or DG
- iii) Dangerous Driving DD
- iv) Driving whilst disqualified BA
- v) Driving whilst uninsured IN
- vi) Accident Offences AC
- vii) Careless Driving CD
