WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Braze is looking to hire a Senior Solutions Consultant for our APAC based team. Braze Solutions Consultants are trusted advisors to our prospective customers during the sales process, bringing extensive product expertise, strategic vision, and best practices to bear. We strive to lay strong foundations, beginning pre-sales, for long-term partnership between Braze and our customers. The Senior Solutions Consultant role is a critical member of the team, who’s job includes  being a technical thought leader across industry verticals, customer types, and geographic markets. 

Braze Solutions Consultants blend the “art” of storytelling and sales with the “science” behind how our technology tactically delivers value for our customers. During the sales process, we help "make it real," with the aim of building prospective customer confidence in Braze's capabilities & team.

This role is an opportunity to expand on your thought  leadership skills, while partnering with Braze’s sales, marketing, security, and product teams. The role will draw upon your experience in Pre-sales Engineering, Technical Account Management, or Customer Success, along with a high level of curiosity about all things tech. You will serve as a mentor to Solutions Consultants on your team.

The role requires some travel, at most 50% at peak times, and is based in our Singapore office.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Act as a trusted advisor to prospective customers during the sales process, providing expert guidance on Braze’s capabilities and strategic value.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, security, and product, to deliver seamless and effective customer experiences.
  • Design and present tailored solutions that demonstrate how Braze’s technology meets customer needs and drives business outcomes.
  • Mentor and support junior Solutions Consultants, fostering their growth and development within the team.
  • Engage in up to 50% travel to meet with clients, participate in industry events, and support sales initiatives across the APAC region.
  • Continuously expand your knowledge of Braze’s products, industry trends, and best practices to maintain thought leadership in the field.
  • Master story teller where you put yourself in the prospective customer's shoes, demonstrate empathy with their business and their customers, and articulate how Braze capabilities brings vital value to them, all while being able to seamlessly switch between user/business and technical-centric presentations & conversations.

  • High level of intellectual curiosity. You see opportunity and growth in learning more about what you do and how it impacts others.
  • You have experience selling into accounts with a sophisticated Pre-sales Consulting or Sales Engineering team.
  • You have domain knowledge of two or more of the following:  SaaS, Mobile, APIs, Marketing Automation, Direct Marketing, Marketing Analytics or Programming (even just HTML).
