Volunteer Trustee to Join our Small Charity

What will you be doing?

Currently we are a very small charity, set up in our Sons memory. We are currently run by family for families. We are looking for trustees to join our family and help support families through their loss.  We are looking for people who are passionate about and have experience in fundraising. Any experience of child bereavement would be helpful in understanding the pain of the loss of a child either directly or indirectly, however training will be given.  Any experience or skills in bereavement would be an advantage.

What are we looking for?

A high level of empathy is needed for this role as you will be helping vulnerable families. A level of experience with fundraising both in the community and digitally. 

What difference will you make?

This is a vital role, helping to ensure that we can further support bereaved families through their grief, and improve the services we offer. As a trustee you will have a real opportunity to offer your unique skill set to help the strategic progression of the charity. As part of our board you will help to support us and shape our work and strategic direction as well as help us achieve our purpose of providing the best support we can to bereaved families and create changes for safer care. We are looking for people to help us formulate our vision for the future.
