What will you be doing?

Key Responsibilities: To work closely with the programmes manager by taking responsibility of a set number of key work tasks related to Human Resources function: Recruitment process

Drafting the Job Descriptions for various volunteers, trustees and other staff and publishing the job adverts on job portals, social media networks etc. Responding to applications, screening and shortlisting candidates for interviews Support on conducting interview along with the Programmes manager and Director Onboarding successful candidates and sending regrets to unsuccessful candidates Updating the relevant recruitment trackers

Policies & Processes

Update, amend and seek approval by the board on current policies Oversee the process, edit and write the policies with the support of the Director Advise on new polices and processes for better and smooth working of the organization

Length of Appointment: 12 months Location: Remote working however there is an opportunity to visit the work on the ground should the volunteer wish to do so. Time Commitment: 2 hours a week. Support: Training, professional development, mentorship and supervision will be provided

What are we looking for?

Education: Advanced university degree in Human Resource Management, Public or Business Administration, Industrial Psychology or other relevant field, or First University degree with additional years of related work experience or trainings/courses. Experience: At least five years of progressively responsible professional experience in human resources management, ideally in an international or humanitarian organisation.Knowledge & Skills:Technical Skills: Proficiency in HR information systems, data analysis, and HR best practices. Strong understanding of local labor laws and regulations.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. People Skills: Strong people skills with the ability to build relationships, resolve conflicts, and promote teamwork. Competencies: Purposeful, initiative-taking, and able to work under pressure. High ethical standards, integrity, and professionalism.
