An opportunity exists for a seasoned Mechanical/Plumbing Engineer to be part of our diversified team of 9,000+ professionals committed to this cause.
Role Summary:

  • Lead technical design reviews and engineering oversight for major seed processing facilities
  • Supervise installation and ensure quality and safety standards are maintained.
  • Coordinate among teams to resolve design and installation conflicts, and encourage technical problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Role Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools like AutoCAD, Revit MEP and a strong understanding of construction principles, building codes, and safety standards.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and plumbing systems.
  • Professional registration with the Institution of Engineers Rwanda is preferred.
  • Fluency in English and Kinyarwanda is necessary; French is an advantage.

The role: We are seeking an experienced Mechanical/Plumbing Engineer with 7+ years of experience to oversee the designs and installation of high-quality building services systems for major seed processing facilities. This role involves leading technical design reviews, engineering oversight, supervising installation, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met. You will also coordinate with various teams to prevent design and installation conflicts and drive technical problem solving and continuous improvement.

Job requirements: The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field. Professional registration with the Institution of Engineers Rwanda is preferred. Proficiency in CAD tools like AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and a solid understanding of construction principles, building codes, and safety standards are essential.
