We’re looking for a Protection Adviser with a passion for improving the home-buying journey and helping to demystify the world of mortgages. You’ll be a critical part of Moneybox, helping our customers make one of the most exciting financial decisions of their lives
What you'll do
Provide professional and personalised protection advice to Moneybox customers Guide customers through the mortgage application process and help them from their first step to their doorstep! Consistently meet monthly revenue targets by conducting protection reviews with our mortgage customers helping them understand the need to protect their mortgage and family from the risks of sickness, critical illness or death Continuously look for ways to improve customer experience and journeys Work with other teams, such as our Mortgage Advisers, Home-buying Qualifiers and Administrators, to ensure smooth handovers and a seamless customer handover Meet quality assurance, service and risk targets in a regulated environmentWho you are
You’re a qualified Protection Adviser with a passion for helping customers with their protection and insurance needs You are driven and ambitious, looking to build your career at an exciting, fast growing company You have experience with advising from a panel of protection providers You are passionate about improving the home-buying experience for first time buyers You have a high level of empathy and go above and beyond for customers You have excellent verbal and written communication skills You are flexible to work evening and weekend shiftsSkills and Experience
You will have 5+ years provable experience within a protection broker role You will have a comprehensive knowledge of the protection market, with experience and knowledge of recommending Income Protection, Critical Illness cover, Life cover and Family Income Benefit Experience recommending protection from a panel of providers You will be CeMAP qualified and hold Competent Adviser Status Experienced with completing insurance applications, conducting medical questionnaires and liaising with protection underwriters to ensure the best possible outcome for customers.
