- Role Summary:

The role - As a Health Safety Environment (HSE) Manager, your tasks will include further development and management of HSE management system activities, advising and supporting the Site Leadership Team, managing and maintaining the safety organization, creating and monitoring HSE KPIs in coordination with plant management, ensuring and conducting internal training and instructions for employees (and subcontractors) to increase occupational safety and environmental awareness, leading and following up ASA meetings, conducting internal audits including workplace inspections, updating and creating risk assessments and risk analyses, checking event reports, conducting event analyses and deriving corrective and improvement measures, and procuring safety equipment. You will also be involved in international exchange with European locations via the Corporate HSE Manager.
Job requirements - You should have completed technical training or studies with a technical background, training as a specialist for occupational safety, experience with management systems and their certifications such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and fluent German and English skills in word and writing. You should have a structured independent way of working combined with a pronounced sense of responsibility and very good communication and team skills.
