Role Summary:
- Identify, prospect, and qualify outbound sales opportunities in the healthcare sector
- Drive growth for the Whereby Embedded API product
- Focus on expanding the customer base in telehealth and digital mental health industries
Role Requirements:
- Previous sales experience, preferably as a Sales Development Representative or Junior Sales Executive
- Knowledge in B2B/SaaS sales, with technical or API product sales experience
- Understanding of the healthcare space
- Competency in creative thinking, organization, analytics, and excellent communication
- Ability to work in a distributed team and prioritize effectively
Whereabouts: We work from everywhere within CET +/- 7 hours
Interviews: Around 6 hours over a few weeks, including some practical work
Salary: $43,000 (base salary) (OTE $62,500) for US candidates and £33,000 (base salary) (OTE £48,000) globally

To identify, prospect and qualify outbound sales opportunities, particularly in the healthcare sector, and drive the growth of Whereby Embedded, our API product. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our customer base, focusing on the telehealth and digital mental health industries.

Sales team mission
Whereby is loved by millions of users worldwide, and our Sales team plays a key role in expanding our customer base and driving revenue growth. Focused on the Telehealth and Digital Mental Health industries, we’re on a mission to facilitate healthcare consultations globally through enterprise customers in the sector.
The Sales team’s mission is to secure contracts with medium and large telehealth platforms, primarily through an outbound sales motion. Our goal is to expand our presence in the healthcare sector by partnering with major players in the industry. You will collaborate with the wider Commercial team to attract high-value customers, setting the stage for successful deal closures. You will collaborate with other departments across the business on all areas of B2B Sales, from Product to Marketing to Partnerships.

Tactical responsibilities
● Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities through outbound and inbound channels
● Engage with potential clients via email, social media, and phone to introduce Whereby’s Embedded solutions
● Conduct thorough research to understand the needs and challenges of potential healthcare clients
● Schedule and coordinate meetings between qualified leads and our Sales Executives
● Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all activities in our CRM system
● Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize lead generation efforts targeting the healthcare industry
● Continuously improve your knowledge of our product, industry trends, and the healthcare tech landscape
