We are seeking a Technical Product Manager to join Braze’s SDKs team.

The SDKs team delivers rich, delightful and useful experiences for users who live in the diverse ecosystem of mobile, web, wearable, and TV platforms. With billions of monthly delivered messages, Braze has one of the world's most widely adopted messaging SDKs. In the SDKs team, we relentlessly focus on API design, performance, developer ergonomics, and product innovation to earn the right to be included in our customers' applications as part of their essential messaging infrastructure.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Product Managers at Braze build the product roadmap for a given product area and work closely with engineers and product designers to bring new products to life.
  • Deeply understand our customers, market, and technology environment.
  • Understand customer needs for system reliability, consistency, accuracy and performance.
  • Manage the product roadmap for our SDKs team by analyzing inputs from a wide variety of sources to prioritize the most important next steps for our product. 
  • Establish prioritization and developer experience principals that scale across our wide variety of platform SDKs.
  • Some examples of the things the SDKs team works on includes: building support for new messaging channels and features, expanding our SDKs to support the latest platforms and operating systems, and identifying developer experience opportunities to reduce the time-to-integrate metric.

WHO YOU ARE

  • 3+ years of product management experience
  • 3+ years of engineering experience (professionally, or building side hustles)
  • A strong understanding of APIs, SDKs, and what it means to provide good developer experience in our public interfaces.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and persuasion skills.
  • A proactive, positive, can-do attitude. You drive projects to completion excellently, and are always looking for new ways that processes and products can be improved.
  • Ability to work within a cross-functional team and balance multiple projects at once.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow.
  • Bonus Points:
    • Experience at a B2B SaaS company
    • Marketing industry experience or subject matter expertise

Experience with mobile technology, especially as an Android / iOS developer, is very strongly preferred.

For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $95,000 and $181,000/year with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $112,000 and $214,000/year (including bonus or commission). Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to cash compensation, Braze offers full- and part- time employees a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSUs) so that all Braze employees own a piece of our company.
