Our 302-room building is opening this autumn and we are now seeking the final superstars to complete our site team.
Job Overview:
As a Receptionist in our space, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional experience for our members and maintaining a smooth front of house. You will wear many hats, including checking in and out members, handling any complaints or issues that arise, sorting mail and packages, and ensuring that our members have a great stay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet members upon arrival, verify their identity, process payments, and provide information about our space and amenities during check-in.
- Answer phone calls and emails promptly and professionally.
- Collect keys and any other items that were borrowed or rented during the member's stay, process any additional charges, return any deposits, and ensure that the member is satisfied during check-out.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels for building supplies.
- Address member complaints or issues promptly and professionally, listen to their concerns, offer solutions, and ensure that they feel heard and valued.
- Sort and distribute mail and packages to the correct recipient whenever needed.
- Manage reservations and bookings, update member information, maintain accurate records of member accounts, payments, and guest stays.
- Ensure that our shared spaces are clean and well-maintained, including common areas, kitchens, and bathrooms.
- Work collaboratively with our housekeeping and maintenance teams to organise any additional needs for our members.
- Check back with members to ensure their complaints and issues raised were dealt with and that they are happy with the outcome.
- Ensuring that all non-residents are properly registered, making sure that our space remains safe and secure for all members
- Attend to any other duties or special projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or hotels preferred.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Strong attention to detail.
Salary: £29k per year salary
Hours: 4 days on, 4 days off rotation (including weekends) 8am-8pm
