Senior Finance Analyst (3 Month Fixed Term Contract)
Location: Based in our Dalston office with flexibility to WFH
Reporting to: Head of Finance
Contract: Full-time, 3 Month Fixed term Contract
Salary: £50,000 per annum (pro-rated for the period of the contract)

About the role:
We are looking for an experienced finance professional with an understanding of management and statutory reporting requirements who is confident using MS Excel to an advanced level. We are offering the opportunity to join our Finance Team on a fixed term contract. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Finance and will support the Finance Team to deliver and improve all management and statutory accounting, investor and bank reporting and other management information.
The role will be a mix of hands-on work and providing strategic input and ideas to support the development of a high-performing finance function and team.
About you

You enjoy process improvement and reporting development in MS Excel.
You have experience developing financial reporting in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint whilst also improving existing work papers to operate more efficiently. You are a solutions-orientated and curious, with an appetite to continually review and improve processes.
You are a qualified financial professional or have significantly progressed with your studies. You are an effective communicator who is confident using accounting software.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial performance and management information – Process improvement with regarding to current management information and analytics to be delivered in a timely manner; challenge and advise the business to drive superior financial reporting performance.
Investor relations & Treasury - Assist with the management of investor and banking relationships and reporting.
Strategy & Planning - Support in development of short and long-term strategic financial objectives and oversee execution of those objectives.
Operational & Transactional Finance – With the aid of the Finance Administrator, oversee the progress of operational and administrative tasks that the Finance team are responsible for. Assist in ad-hoc requests from the business which the Finance team are tasked with.
Skills and Experience:
- Qualified (well progressed) finance professional with management and statutory reporting development experience.
- Advanced Excel and strongdata manipulation skills.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Proven ability to multi-task and prioritise in a busy environment.
- Solutions-orientated and curious, with an appetite to continually review and improve processes.
- Strongwritten and verbal communication skills.
- Experience of working in highperformance teams and managing change.
- Experience developing relationships withauditors and other external stakeholders.
- Experience of maintaining andutilising accounting software, eg Sage or Xero.
