Your Role

You'll own the end-to-end sales experience for Work.Life's Event space product; fully responsible for the growth and profitability of this revenue stream. You'll initially focus on the set up and activation of our Events space in our largest new building in Farringdon - by defining & implementing a smooth sales journey and establishing relationships with key event agencies & partners - then taking ownership of the ongoing sales pipeline to secure a healthy pipeline of events across our portfolio & support in their excellent delivery.

Key priorities for your first few months

·      Design and document the in-house sales journey and supporting collateral, and collaborate with colleagues to set up systems & processes to support this

·      Source and secure relationships with key event agencies and necessary operational delivery partners

·      Review and confirm key KPIs & phased sales targets for this role for the FY26 Financial Year

·      Successfully sell our primary Event space to ensure a profitable first quarter upon opening of the space in early 2025

·      Support the achievement of an NPS of 50+ in the first quarter

Your Day to Day Responsibilities

·      You’ll drive increased revenue & events calendar volume in our primary Event space in St Cross Street and in our key Event spaces across other locations

·      You’ll ensure that all Events deliver or exceed both budgeted income & overheads targets, continuously seeking improvement to drive both areas incrementally

·      You’ll drive priority on repeat Event bookings/sales rates to deliver a strong direct / repeatable lead channel for future pipeline

·      You’ll engage frequently with the space teams, curating events tailored to customers’ needs & delivering a smooth handover of the Event to be executed as planned

·      You'll be visible where most relevant at Event bookings to monitor the successful delivery and reinforce the sales relationship for future bookings

·      Your relationship with the Marketing team will enable targeted lead generation for your pipeline, ensuring our unique brand DNA comes across in all aspects of the event journey and supports in identifying opportunities to generate new interest

·      You’ll continuously scan for opportunities to lead the market and challenge competitors in delivering London-based Events

·      You’ll oversee key contract and invoicing requirements within your remit, ensuring a seamless experience and on-time payment

You'll ensure we're working with the right introducer agencies, as well as necessary event suppliers to supplement our in-house offering
