The Ellen MacArthur Foundation is a leader in defining and promoting the understanding of the circular economy. We are looking for a motivated Senior Editor to join our in-house team. The role involves shaping and delivering insight publications for a variety of internal and external audiences, in line with the Foundation’s strategic objectives. You will help to ensure that our publications meet the highest standards of quality and play a vital role in inspiring global change.
The role entails narrative development and thought-leadership output at a project level. You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of major editorial projects across all areas of the Foundation, ensuring that editorial content is delivered on time and is of the highest quality. You will also be responsible for developing narrative and circular economy framing for the Foundation’s projects and producing editorial content that delivers the Foundation’s narrative and thought leadership to a range of internal and external audiences.
Job requirements include 3-5 years’ relevant work experience including editorial and copywriting skills. Previous experience in a writing-related role in journalism, business, government, NGO, or research is desirable. You should have proven ability to storyline complex concepts and large amounts of information in highly structured forms and excellent writing skills. Some knowledge and understanding of the current circular economy debate and associated media landscape is desirable.
