The Role: As the first dedicated procurement hire at Marshmallow, you will have the unique opportunity to build the procurement function from scratch. This role involves designing and implementing a practical procurement framework, leading commercial negotiations, and driving cross-business engagement to ensure structured and budget-compliant procurement processes. You will also establish governance, controls, and spend visibility, and potentially build out a team as the function matures.
Job Requirements: We are looking for a commercially sharp individual who thrives in ambiguous environments and is adept at creating order from chaos. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in procurement or commercial roles, particularly in settings where procurement functions were previously underdeveloped. You should have experience in managing contracts, negotiating cost savings, designing processes, and implementing third-party risk management programs.
