- Lead and expand the Trust’s corporate fundraising initiatives.
- Develop and manage relationships with current and potential corporate partners.

- A minimum of three years’ experience in a corporate fundraising or similar role.

- Experience with CRM systems and understanding of the charitable and environmental sectors.
- Relevant degree or equivalent professional development.

The John Muir Trust is a progressive conservation organisation dedicated to conserving, protecting and repairing wild places for the benefit of everyone. We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Corporate Partnerships Manager. This role is a unique opportunity to lead on the Trust’s corporate fundraising and be part of our Income Generation team as we look to significantly increase income to support our exciting Strategy.
The role entails managing the expansion of the Trust’s corporate fundraising, identifying targets, developing materials, and making persuasive asks for relevant projects. You will also lead on stewardship of corporate partners, building on existing relationships to maximise income and meet ambitious targets. Other responsibilities include planning and managing events and individual meetings with potential corporate partners, developing funding bids, writing reports and updates to keep partners informed of the positive impact of their support, and liaising with colleagues across the organisation to ensure that fundraising activity reflects the Trust’s strategic priorities.
Job requirements include at least three years’ experience in a similar role or at a comparable level in a comparable organisation, a demonstrable track record of income generation from corporates, proven ability to build, manage and develop key stakeholder relationships, excellent communication skills, line management experience, understanding of the charitable and environmental sectors, and experience with CRM systems. A degree or equivalent qualifications and/or significant evidence of continued professional development relevant to the role purpose and level is also required.
The position is permanent and full-time, with a salary starting at £48,413. The location is flexible, with regular travel to Edinburgh or Pitlochry. The Trust offers a pension scheme with a 5% employer contribution, 34 days of holiday (including bank holidays) per year plus 2 ‘wild days’ or 2 sustainable travel days.
