As a Data Engineer, your role will entail:
- Owning end-to-end data domains
- Developing and maintaining data infrastructure
- Collaborating with diverse teams to ensure high-quality data availability, structure and documentation
The role requires:
- 3+ years experience in a data engineering or related position
- Dexterity with SQL and data transformation
- Experience with Python or Java
- Knowledge of data modeling, warehousing concepts, large datasets, ETL/ELT pipelines, and modern data warehouse technologies

The Role: As a Data Engineer at One Acre Fund, you will own end-to-end data domains, building reliable pipelines and scalable data models that power decision-making across the organization. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining data infrastructure, ensuring high-quality datasets that support analytics and decision-making. This role involves close collaboration with analysts, business stakeholders, and other engineers to ensure data availability, structure, and documentation.
Job Requirements: - 3+ years experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or related software development roles. - Strong experience with SQL and data transformation. - Experience with programming languages such as Python or Java. - Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines. - Familiarity with modern data warehouse technologies. - Understanding of data modeling, warehousing concepts, and large datasets. - Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and data quality practices.
